WHAT IT DOES

Twenty answers one question, continuously: where exactly am I. It reads GPS, resolves the road underneath you, and prints the block, the street, the cross street ahead, your direction of travel and your speed. On the radio that is the difference between giving dispatch a location and giving them an approximation.

ACCURACY OVER COVERAGE

When the block can't be trusted the app prints BLOCK DATA UNAVAILABLE and falls back to street and coordinates.

That is a decision, not a gap. A wrong block number read aloud on the radio sends people to the wrong place. An empty field sends them to ask. The app is built to be wrong as rarely as possible and to admit it immediately when it is. Every change is checked against real recorded drives before it ships.

HIGHWAYS

On a freeway there is no block to give, so the app gives the next best thing: the mile marker and the next exit.

WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL

Road data for the county you work can be kept on the phone, so block, cross streets and exits keep working in a dead zone.

IN THE CAR

Twenty runs on CarPlay. With CarPlay connected the car's screen takes the map and the phone keeps the readout. Block and road also follow on Apple Watch and in a Live Activity on the lock screen. The display cycles between dark, light and a red night mode.

RECORDING

Recording a pursuit or a critical call switches to a layout that reads the way the call goes out on the radio. MARK LOCATION timestamps a point on the track, and stopping takes a hold rather than a tap, so a recording can't end by accident.

DATA

Location stays on the device. No accounts, no analytics, and no server of ours that ever sees where you are.

Shift recordings are written to the device and leave it only through the share sheet, when you send them. There is no copy on our side to subpoena, lose, or hand over. The privacy policy lists everything that leaves the phone and where it goes.
